NIT,Vegas 16, CIT and CBI Selection Process

NIT Selection Process

NIT is a second tier tournament is for teams that wasn’t pick in the Bracketology how do I pick teams well the first four out of my bracketology becomes #1 seed in the NIT in seed order I pick 28 best teams to be in based on  RPI, SOS, NC SOS, NC record, conference record, road record, teams vs top 100, and last 10 or 12 games  the NIT but I don’t pick teams that are in a tied for 1st place in the conference the loser of the tie breaker that wasn’t pick the NCAA Bracketology becomes a AQ in the NIT due to the fact a conference champion that wasn’t pick for a at large bid does get a AQ to the NIT. AQ spot takes away a at large bid to the NIT more likely a lower seed for example if four lower conference teams become AQ teams that are rank 29,30,31 and 32 on the S-curve would be out of the NIT Bracketology after the s-curve is done then I place team onto the bracket all teams would be place based on the S-Curve  for example the highest team on the 1 seed would play the weakest 2 seed on the bracket to keep the four regions balance but a team can be move up a seed line like a 6 to a 7 seed due to being closer to the #2 seed team than the #3 seed team or a rematch of a game play and a conference team meeting a conference team before the quarterfinals here’s how the teams be place into the bracket

1st Step: Put the #1 seeds onto the four regions.

2nd Step: Put the #8 seeds closer to the #1 seeds based on s-curve.

3rd Step: Put the #2 seeds closer to the #1 seeds based on s-curve.

4th Step: Put the #7 seeds closer to the #2 seeds based on s-curve.

5th Step: Put the #3 seeds closer to the #2 seeds based on s-curve.

6th Step: Put the #6 seeds closer to the #3 seeds based on s-curve.

7th Step: Put the #4 seeds closer to the #1 seeds based on s-curve.

8th Step: Put the #5 seeds closer to the #4 seeds based on s-curve.

Vegas 16 Bracketology Selection Process

Vegas 16 is a power conference tournament not selected to the NCAA or NIT how do I pick teams is after I pick team to the NIT the best 16 teams for 9 conferences will be pick based on RPI, SOS, NC SOS, NC record, conference record, road record, teams vs top 100, and last 10 or 12 games the 9 conferences who are pick is just for this season only because I don’t know what conferences can be pick after the 2016 Vegas 16 bracket is release we will likely make new rules for the bracketology.

CIT Bracketology Selection Process

CIT is a mid major tournament not selected to the NCAA or NIT how do I pick teams to be on the CIT is when a conference has a projected automatic bid to the NCAA a 2nd team place or 3rd place team if their a tie for 1st place in a conference would likely be pick as long they have a better than a .500 record overall record and a winning conference record only 23 conference can be pick for a bid except power conference and AAC, A-10 and Mountain West.

CBI Bracketology Selection Process

CBI is a mid major tournament not selected by NCAA, NIT or CIT how do I pick teams to be on the CBI is teams not taking to the CIT and their no limit on how they finshed in the conference a team can have a below .500 if they are rank in the top 100 in the RPI and for others .500 or better overall to be selected no more power conference teams and  AAC, A-10 and Mountain West can be pick due to not accepted a bid and due to Vegas 16 .
